Yay :DDD!!!Finally I went to a hairdresser :D!I went to a male hairdresser in my village in Slovenia, who has a fancy hair salon and uses only good natural products. In his salon you have to take an appointment and then you're alone there with him.He dedicates you all his time and knowledge making the hairdressing a real pleasure.I told him my problems and fears and he was so nice with me.He also said that he can see that I'm taking good care of my hair and that my ends are not split. That was the biggest compliment for me.My dear Allah,I was one happy kid =)!As soon as I came home and after my mother took a picture of my hair,I decided to make the above video.I know,it's not the best video ever, but I decided to leave it just like that, because I wanted to share with you my genuine excitement.Unfortunately only a bit of it was uploaded, but I was saying that even though my hair journey was due to end on the 27th of February 2010,I still want to continue it.My dandruff is gone, but my shedding continues,so my journey has to continue, too. But,I have a new force now and I'm ready for the challenge!Next date is the
1st of July 2010 and by then I really hope I'll be finished and happy with it.As far as the lenght of my hair is concerned,I'd like it to be till beneath my breast line.I don't know if I'll reach that by July, but only at this lenght I'll be completely happy.
You know...I had a bit of celebration today and now is almost three o'clock in the morning,so I can't think properly anymore and I really need to go to sleep :)...but I just wanted to share my experience with you...and I also wanted to thank you for your kind support.Thank you my dear girls and I send you all my love!!!
Oh...really...I'm so tired...till next time ;)!
My hair hasn't been trimmed in over six months and I was last by a hairdresser in February 2009.
flat-ironed.
To be continued... ;)
ALHAMDULILLAH , ALHAMDULILLAH !!!

salam jasmina.
your hair does looks good after the trim. actually the length of our hair are almost the same only that mine is black :) i like the colour of your hair. is it red?
taking care of ones hair when you are wearing hijab is quite challenging especially in the weather like Malaysia. hair falls is my biggest issue and i' still trying to find the best solution.
maybe i can try the new shampoo, AQURA for hijabis.
Salam Kakchik :o),
thank you for commenting.
You know, yesterday I thought the same.My hair has this reddish undertone. But,it's light brown.
I have to admit that many times I thought of the fact if women wearing a hijab must take some different or additional steps in taking care of their hair.I'm sorry I don't know much about that, otherwise I'd be more than glad to give you some advice. But,I promise I'll inform myself and I'll try to do a post on how to take care of your hair if you're wearing a hijab. However, one thing is for sure, hijab definitely protects your hair from dust, wind and sun.
As far as shedding is concerned, that is one hard subject. So far (but please keep in mind that my shedding still continues) the thing that helped the most in reducing the shedding were some vitamin supplements I'm taking.Like omega3 and B-vitamins.This helped me more than some shampoos against shedding! Thus maybe you should take some vitamins or pills specific for hair. One should take them for at least three months to see results, but it's worth it.It invigorates your hair!
I don't know about the shampoo Aqura.I googled it,but I couldn't find anything.But,as I said,I'll inform myself better :).
Kiss,kiss my dear!
Ahhh how exciting!
And you have the exact accent I thought you'd have!! :)
I have reddish undertones also, although my hair is slightly darker than yours.
Salam Aynur :o),
thanks for your support.
I send you my love...and I'm glad you told me how is your hair.I wish I could see a picture of you one day :)!

@ Tali :o)!
Hi Talitha Maryam :),
you can't imagine how happy I am that you commented on my blog.I've been reading passionately your blog for the last two months.I find it so informative!
What's more, when I saw that you come from Croatia and the beautiful Opatija it was instant love :).I come from the coast in Slovenia and Opatija isn't that far,so I was there some time.
I'm glad you liked my hair, but I still have a long road ahead of me.
You're such an inspiration!
A hug your way =)!
@ Valz <3!
Hi my dear,
thanks for commenting :)!You know I've to tell you that the day after my visit to that hairdresser my scalp was itching so much. Thus at the end I was a bit disappointed. He gave me two small samples of the shampoo and conditioner he washed my hair with and when I cheked it,I saw that after all it wasn't all that natural. However,I'll try them on my own and I'll post more about it in my next hair post. But,I've been enjoying my hair since the cut, because it's so much softer.
You know, till the end of the year 2008 I had my favorite hairdresser in Italy.I simply adored him!Unfortunately,he then left the salon where he worked and now I can only miss him :/,because I don't have a clue where he went. What a pity!
Un abbraccio :)!
